If You Have a Man Bun, Are You Automatically a Liberal
Liberals use race and sexuality to tell people how to vote!
I was sitting at a bar the other day and a guy walks in with a man bun. A pretty common sight these days as they are apparently very trendy, but I started to wonder…is he a liberal or just likes the man bun look? Then I started thinking about all the groups of people liberals claim to own, black, hispanic, women, gays etc. Look no further than Biden’s quote “If you don’t vote for me you ain’t black”. Follow that up with Kamala’s divisive Zoom calls and you see what they are up to, divide the country into “us” and “them”.
Divisive and racist at it’s core, Biden’s comment is a signal of the deep feelings of the Democrat Party. Don’t think, just do what we say. Follow, vote this way and don’t question it. Let’s turn that around for a minute and imagine that President Trump had said something like this to white men, what would the media say, what would democrats say. I assure you there would be outrage, rightfully so. Every human has the ability to reason, the ability to think and the right to do what they believe is the right thing, not because Joe said so, but because they have looked at the issues and made their minds up to vote one way or the other.
Saying that all black people are the same is as racist as any comment you could make. They come from all walks of life, different backgrounds, families, professions. It does seem odd that the party that claims to be for equal rights speaks with racist overtones in everything they do.
The current election cycle we see them telling all women they have to vote for Kamala because…she’s a woman. How demeaning, it’s as if they are saying “hey ladies, don’t trouble yourself with the issues, just come support us”. Here’s another news flash, not all women are in favor of abortion. Shocker! Women I know are among the smartest and most articulate people around. Yet here I am, a conservative that doesn’t denigrate women but according to the left I’m their sworn enemy. This is just another example of how the left uses class/race/sexuality warfare to try and pigeon hole all conservatives into the same group. In this particular case, the whole argument is bogus and really another example of them changing the meaning of words, repeating until it’s accepted as fact, with not a single piece of evidence to back them up, and yet liberals buy into the narrative.
The gay community is another group that’s been tagged as an automatic vote for Kamala. As my gay Republican neighbor puts it, “I’m gay, I’m not stupid”. Why would gays automatically vote for Democrats. Certainly they are not all socialists, they work hard for their money and don’t want to give it all to the government. Democrats again cry that conservatives hate gays, we want to get into their bedrooms and keep them from enjoying their life the way they want. Let’s spin it the right way, conservatives don’t really care what you do in your bedroom or who you do it with. We want a world where we all enjoy our constitution rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. The rub comes when liberals want to politicize things to try and divide us to support their agenda. It isn’t working anymore, we’re on to their game.
The list of things the conservative is supposedly against goes on and on, each with a counter argument that’s quite different than the liberal spin. Here’s a list of “Facts” posted in a liberal meme:
Restore Roe v. Wade - Dems are pro and Republicans are against. Really it’s just not that simple, the Supreme Court ruled it’s a states rights issue, so not all Republicans are against abortion at all levels, but each state needs to make their own rule. It is not a constitutional issue, therefor either the congress or each state can pass laws in regards to abortion, and stop calling it women’s health, it’s abortion you are talking about. Women’s health includes all of the things a woman sees a doctor for, from head to toe, so don’t call women’s health when you are referring specifically to abortion.
Protecting Democracy - do I really need to even describe how our current Democrat candidate has received 0 votes, or how the current administration has weaponized our DOJ against political opponents (Read this article). Another talking point shot down.
Affordable Health Care - replace the word affordable with free and you have the Democrat policy. Trump is the one who put a cap on insulin for Medicare patients, how did the Democrats take credit for it? How are Republicans against affordable health care? we may differ on how to get there but we all want the same thing.
Social Security & Medicare - not sure how the Republicans can be labeled as anti for this one. Maybe it’s that we don’t want to give it out to illegal aliens, maybe we are against fraud. I’m not really sure how this is spun, but I can tell you Republicans are not anti Social Security or Medicare.
Student Debt Relief - finally got one right, if you borrowed the money, you owe the money and you should pay it back. Seems pretty simple to me.
Expanding voting rights - I think everyone who has a right to vote, including 18 year olds and up, including American citizens, is just fine. If they mean by expanded they want non-citizens to vote, well they are correct, I’m against it. If they are trying to perpetrate the myth that an I.D. is so hard to get, that it excludes many poor and minorities, I’d throw the B.S. flag on that one. you can’t do anything in this country without an I.D. and to infer that poor and minority people can’t get one is just plane demeaning, racist and classist.
Increasing the minimum wage - Just look at what is happening in California, where fast food for 2 costs over $40 for 2 burgers, fries and drinks. Do Democrats not understand basic economics. If you raise costs, prices go up. A job at McDonalds was never intended to be a career for life.
Gun violence prevention legislation - Being a strong supporter of the second amendment I would say taking guns away from good, honest, people is not going to solve the problem, in fact it would make it worse. There are countless stories of the good guy with a gun doing the right thing. Criminals don’t follow the law and last I checked it was already illegal to kill someone, posses a gun if you are a felon and background checks are already required. Short of a gun confiscation (the Kamala Policy) what laws would you like added?
Taxing the ultra wealthy - The top 1% in this country already pay their share of taxes. Here’s the fact, the top 1% earn 26.3% of AGI and paid 45.8% of all federal income tax in 2021. How much is enough? Compare those numbers to the bottom 50%, 10.4% of the income and only 2.3% of taxes. The top 1% pay an average of 25% while the bottom 50% pay only 3.3% of their income to the Federal government. It appears we have a progressive tax structure already, so the question is, how much is enough, is 25% enough or should it be more? Defending reproductive freedom - see number 1 above but as a Republican we are not all in lock step, so why do liberals try and paint us into a corner…the narrative of the left and it may be the only talking point they have.
Fighting climate change - another piece of science that’s not 100%, but worse than that, you can’t fight climate change by ending all fossil fuels today or tomorrow, you also negatively impact the climate with windmills and solar farms. Everything we do has an impact on the environment. Where do we store the batteries when they are used up? Everything we do cannot overcome things done in China and India. Republicans don’t hate the environment, we’re just realistic about it. My belief is that long ago when questions of climate came up, Democrats figured out how to profit from it, so they need that climate change issue to keep making the money.
Trump’s Project 2025 - Project 2025 was written by the Heritage Foundation and even they have said Trump does not support it. Trump has said he doesn’t support it. Apparently it doesn’t matter what you say, the Democrats continue with their narrative and keep driving it in until all of their minions accept it as true. Further, the liberals are exaggerating and miss-quoting what the Project 2025 actually says. See this article that I wrote last week about a seminar held here in small town North Texas.
What can we do to fight this pervasive false narrative? I’m writing as much as I can, when you hear it debate it, politely but firmly. We can’t let liberals drive the narrative, they are not telling us the truth. They are pigeon holing a large segment of good solid conservative Americans. If you are a liberal reading this, good for you but do us all a favor, question the narrative. Try and remember that there is no “us” and “them”, only Americans. Just because you have a man bun doesn’t mean you have to be a liberal!
